How to Locate Cards with a Stripper Deck

"Hi everybody! Now let's learn the basic card location using the stripper deck. Now, once you understand how the deck works, it's not a hard trick to explain. We'll spread out the deck. I like using the table spread. We'll have a card selected. I'm going to do the spread reversal. They're going to look at their card and remember it. Just to show you that we can add some variety, we'll spread it out again. They can put the card back anywhere they want and you can gather them up like this. You can even cut the deck a couple times if you want. Later on I'm going to show you some ways to give the deck legitimate shuffles. Now, what I did was I did the Hindu shuffle. I wanted the card to stay in the middle for this one. Then I put the deck down on the table and I just grab it with this hand and hold it steady. With this hand, I'm going to strip out the card just like that and turn it over to show that it's the selected card. Let's review. You can have them take a card, and reverse, have them return the card anywhere they want, and have them push it in if you want. Then you don't even have to shuffle the cards if you don't want to. You can just put the deck down and just reach over and pull out one card, and that looks kind of magical when you show them that's the card they picked. That's how you do a basic card location with a stripper deck."
