Explanation of Matchbook Office Magic Tricks

"Alright everybody so here is the explanation for the matchbook trick now let me repeat if you are somebody who is not a legal adult either get parental permission or don't do the trick. Cause this does use matches and we don't want you getting hurt or you know burning your eyebrows off or something like that cause that stuff is not cool. And it is like I said you can do this and place where there is matches, if your around the office and people are on a smoke break chances are somebody is going to have matches you can do this. I'm going to show you how to set it up from scratch. Now you are going to take out a match that you are going to light in a second. Then you are going to take another match and you are going to bend it down like this. Okay we would probably take one more towards the center like this one and we would bend that down just like that. Now you are going to hold the cover close you are going to light this match and then you are going to use this one to light the tip of this one and you are going to blow them both out. This one you don't need anymore we would get rid of that now you are going to hold this matchbook in your hand, you are going to hold the bent down match under your thumb like that and you are going to kind of have to cover close. If you can really close it great if you can only partial close it that is okay. So you are going to show the matchbook, tare out a match. Then as you close the match book you are actually going to close it over in your hand like this and you are going to put this match right back in the book like that. So it kind of looks like that. Okay and now the match is back, then we are going to close the cover, you are going to strike this match like th is and you are going to shake it out like this and as you are shaking it on the down stroke you just kind of toss it like that and that makes it disappear then you can come up and do your vanish. Like that or if you want to vanish it David Blaine style and drop it down the sewer of something that would work to find what works for you. Go watch a David Blaine special or something and you would see what I mean. Then you take your matchbook and you are already you know way ahead of the game you open this up and you would show them that the burnt match has join it's friends back in the, back in the matchbook like that. You can put your thumb over that to cover the fold if you want but there it is you can show them that it is attached in there. If you want you can even have them tare it out and that is kind of difficult to tare out so it is really attached. That is the vanishing match trick."
