Word Prediction Magic Trick with a Calculator

"Alright everybody. Let's do another version of the 1089 trick. This is actually a cool way to put some presentational points into is and make it into more of a trick. Let's have our friend Mr. Hand again. I have a marker for you again. Let's have Mr. Hand write down another 3 digit number where the digits are all different. Put it right about there on the card. That's fine. He's writing down 273. Now we're going to have him write 372 right up here. Put a line under there and a minus sign there. Why don't use this calculator. Subtract 372 minute 273 and that's going to give you 99. Put a 99 here, put a 0 after it. What I'd like you to do is put a plus sign and put 099 and put another line there. So we have the 99 in here already. Let's 990 and put your total here. Excellent. So the total's 1089. We have a prediction here and I have a book here for Mr. Hand. What I want you to do is turn to page 10 in the book. We'll find it right here. Here is page 10. What we're going to do is count down 8 lines.
