Okay everybody, let me show you how to do the 3 pile trick. Now, if you've been practicing with your Svengali deck, which I hope you have, you are going to pretty much know how this works but I'll run through it and give you some ideas on it anyway. You can have the card selected. Now, in the first round of the performance I actually gave the cards a riffle shuffle like I talked about in the handling section. That doesn't mess up the order because of the way the deck works. The cool part about this is we're going to cut the deck into 3 piles. Because of the way the Svengali deck works, all 3 of them have the selected card on top so it really doesn't matter which one they point to. You'll have to try not to smile in a devious way when you're doing this trick because it really is kind of bold. No matter which pile they point to, they're going to end up with the selected card on top like that. Now, once that happens, you just cut the reverse of the way you did and that will bring your deck right back into order. You can do more Svengali deck tricks, or you can just put the deck back in the box and smile. When you come back, I'm going to show you a couple variations on that and some other ideas.
