Glimpsing a Card in a Hindu Shuffle During Magic Tricks

" Hi! Malik the Magic Guy for expertvillage.com. Now I am going to show you another way to glimpse cards during a shuffle. I also taught you in the beginning section how to do a Hindu shuffle, like this. And the Hindu shuffle is like the overhand shuffle because the bottom card doesn’t change. So if I wanted to use this as the key card, I could glimpse it during the Hindu shuffle. I am going to turn to see what this would look like toward me. But if I am Hindu shuffling, the spectators are here watching, if I’m Hindu shuffling, it’s a pretty easy matter just for me to get a look at that bottom card, just like that. Now I could have them return the selected card here, and I could just drop that right on top. That would give me a key card above a selected card. Let’s try that one more time. So if a card was selected like the 10 of clubs, I could be Hindu shuffling, and they could say stop whenever they want. I am looking at this card; I know what it is and I can even look. As I am tapping the deck to indicate to have them put it there, they will return the card onto the deck, and I just drop this right on top.
