" Hi everybody! Malik the Magic Guy for expertvillage.com. Now I am going to show you some ways to actually handle the key card and place it in a way that you can use it to help you find a card. So what we basically going to do is use it to find a selected card. Let’s say this is the selected card. Now I’m using the ace of spades as my key card because it is easy for everybody to remember. So that is going to start on the bottom of the deck. Now if this was the card they had selected, we could cut the cards down to the table. We are putting the top half on the table, they would put the selected card back, and we are going to put our key card right on top, just like I showed you before. So if we are doing that up to sort of trick speed, we will have Mr. Hand take out a card. Okay. We’ll cut the deck. Okay, Mr. Hand return your card right there. We will put that right on top, and then if I go through, I am in a position now where if I look for my ace of spades, Mr. Hand’s selected card is right underneath. There is another way to do that, and that is using the Hindu shuffle that I showed you before in the basic card handling section. So Mr. Hand, let’s take one more card. Now one principle of the Hindu shuffle is, if I am using the Hindu shuffle to pull cards off, the bottom card doesn’t change. I can do it a few times and it won’t change. So I can shuffle until Mr. Hand’s says stop, then he can put his card back, and I can just drop my key card right on top of Mr. Hand’s card, and now it looks like he returned his card to a shuffled deck. That is another way to use the key card: place it over a selected card and you can use it find the card they selected, Mr. Hand’s card the 5 of spades. "
