"On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Kurt Glaser, Chief Engineer at KGB Studios Seattle. Welcoming you to the next section where we're recording the fourth and final track. Fourth and final track on our reel to reel section here, how to use a 4-track recorder. Okay, well we're going to record the fourth track now. Here we go. Now we've just finished the third track, which was the bass. And of course, we've got to disable this guy again. So disable that and record the fourth track. We also have to make sure this third track now is synced. So we've got to flip this guy up. And now, the only track we're recording is going to be the fourth track. And we want to monitor the bass too, so we'll let the monitor piece tell us right down in here. We want to get the monitor piece. And, of course, we have to shift this guy over here so we can get our percussion track. So we're going to record this one into the fourth track. And we, of course, got to turn this down, turn this up so that we've got some microphonic sound this time. And we must roll the tape back so we can get the right place on the track. And then we are now ready to go into record mode and record. And we'll record it just like we did the other three tracks. And so, you put these in record and play and you'll click this guy on and off you go with that particular track. And you re-add the percussion piece as you go through it. That's how that work. Well, we've got to use some recording device here and we're going to actually use our microphone this to record our audio track. And I always like to add a little bit of percussion on here. So our fourth track is going to use some of this a little shaker, some little shakers. So let's try recording that right now. That's how we record the fourth track. Of course, we're getting audio in that and that's how we do it. Great."
