"Hi! My name is Larry Hammel, singer, songwriter, engineer and producer of Deep Waves Studio here in New York City and on behalf of Expert Village, I would like to welcome you to how to produce a recording artist. All right, Leona sounds fantastic. We have tweaked all the levels, we set up our analog gain structure; it's fabulous right now. We are hitting the digital over there just where we wanted to peak around -10 which is perfect. We have here a graphic display on our door of a screen shot of the digital wave form. Right over here as you can see we have our waves and they are staying within the lines which means we are at a perfect level, really hot, got a good resolution and not hot enough to exceed that and cause distortion. The next step now is to have Leona sing a whole song through where we are going to evaluate her on any rough spots she may have with a song. I will offer her my suggestions of what I could think would work better and we are going to try basically now to do a take, try to strike some gold."
