"What does full-range mean? It means all your interior speakers, it means natural sound reproduction in your vehicle. Like I explained about mono-blocks. Full-range amplifiers come in a plethora of sizes, configurations, digital or analog. Those are all just different varied states of amplifier technology. But what does this mean? This means four channels out. The general full-range amp is four, between four and six channels, but you can also run a two channel, you know, full range. It doesn't matter how many channels, but this is just what typically you'll find for a full-range setup, a four channel. And, no, I'm not just a Pioneer freak. I have a lot of other brands, but this one was convenient to be in front of me. This has a full high pass, low pass filter, subsonic filter. These full-range amplifiers tend to have a little more adjustments on them because they are made for a varied amount of speakers. Not saying that this amplifier couldn't be used toward sub-woofers, but this amplifier's more suited towards the full-range speaker end, and that's what you're going to be listening to. You can feel and kind of distinguish bass all day, but full-range is what's going to be typically what you hear in your vehicle. Say when you go to buy a vehicle at the factory and it comes with a factory amplifier, full-range means full-range, but bass is a major part of full-range, don't get me wrong. You do need woofers, but generally when you go buy a car there is no woofer. There's just 1, 2, 3, 4 speakers or maybe 8 speakers, 10 speakers, it doesn't matter, but that's full-range, no woofer. This amplifier is meant to do that, solely, mostly. You can bridge their channels down and run woofers on it, but for the most part people are going to run a product like this on all their interior speakers. Now once again, this is not my favorite product. Nothing against Pioneer, but there's many different amplifiers suited towards the end result, and like I explained between mono-blocks and this, there are many different power supplies, processing technologies -which I'll get into here a bit- but that is full-range."
