" Hi! My name is John Armstrong from ExpertVillage.com. Today I will be discussing with you the ins and outs of electric Blues Guitar. We can add what is called an extended turnaround to any blues progression, a nice little turnaround that I like to use, if I was doing it for example in the key of G, it would involve pedal toning, which means constantly coming back to the G note, pedal toning back to the G note from in this case, my flat at seventh, so we have flatted seventh root, flatted seventh, sixth root, flatted sixth, flatted sixth root, flatted sixth, fifth root, fifth, okay, so you got, flatted seventh, sixth, flatted sixth, fifth, pedal toning back to the root between them. And then adding either a little chromatic walk up into my fifth, or using seven chords, dominant seven chords, a chromatic slide down to my fifth, so putting it all together like this."
