" Hi! My name is John Armstrong with expertvillage.com. I am a professional guitar instructor and today we are going to be studying beginning jazz guitar. Okay next I would like to show you a blues style jazz progression. In the key of A minor using minor 7 chords, all minor 7 chords are going to be basing this progression out of an A natural minor scale. So we are going to have a 1 minor 7 chord, a 4 minor 7 chord, a 5 minor 7 chord and a 1 minor 7. So we are going to have A minor 7, D minor 7 and D minor 7 are going to be the 3 chords which we will be using in this chord progression. Just kind of playing 4 to a bar; 2, 3, 4, A minor 1, back to my 4 chord, back to my 1 chord, 5 minor 7, 4 minor 7, 1 minor 7, 5, 7. You can kind of do different style rhythm with that one. I keep it real slow, maybe something like this. 1, 2, 3, 4; may be do little arpeggio. "
