"So we just talked about comping on the snare drum and I gave you a couple of examples of that. Now we're going to combine those two examples I gave you into like one big eight measure snare rhythm thing. So if you come over here and check out the music, you want to keep the ride symbol going and you want to play these over top of the ride symbol all eight bars then we'll repeat it back to the beginning when we're done. One and a two and a three and a four and a. Repeat! It's very important that you keep the ride symbol pattern the same throughout the whole time and that you keep everything in time and that you keep the snare drum nice and soft and then you can play it also while feathering on the kick and high on to the four."
