"As I had mentioned earlier with a crew, depending on what you're going to do, you may have three people as a crew. You may have like twenty people. I mean, when I did my very first movie, this movie called Vampires and Other Stereotypes, I had, at that time, thirty people working on this production. I mean I had people doing sound. I had people doing the camera. I had people building sets and then by the time that brushed and winded down, I think I had three people working on it just because it kind of took so long because it was a first movie. So, the crew, make sure you have a camera man. If you're not doing the camera yourself, make sure he knows how to do everything with the camera. Usually the camera guy's doing the lighting. If he doesn't do the lighting, you've got to get somebody to do that and know how to do that. And of course the really important thing is the audio person; just to make sure all the audio is clear and no background noise or over modulator or whatever. That's an important thing too. So, just depending on what you need, that's how many crew people you'll have. And since a lot of these people are going to be doing this for free basically because this is an independent production; you probably don't have the big budget, you've got to make sure the schedules work out. You've got to make sure everybody gets along with each other. You don't want any conflicts happening; personality conflicts with people. And you've got to make sure that they're all into the project as much as you are. So, that's a whole thing too. You're basically like casting for your crew in a sense. So, that's a very careful choice you have to make in regard to crew."
