"Hello again, Kevin Smith, TubaLove here, and the next part of my practice involves tonguing. I tend to as I said slur stuff earlier. I think it's better in warm up for the embouchure itself. And then as you're going I start to do more tonguing exercises. And tonguing is just whenever you're making notes, you've got. You've got the tongue that's coming up. Depending on how low the note, ok. It's coming up generally in the roof of your mouth somewhere right close to your to your teeth. The lower you go, as you'll notice if your jaw drops. Or like for example, I'm playing this note. Excuse me. Then I drop the jaw a little bit to play another note, the tongue just naturally goes back farther into the roof of your mouth because it has to. That's where your mouth is positioned. Now that I'm playing that lower C, I can feel the tongue way back there. Again, that's just naturally the way that it goes back."
