"Copyrighting ones music is a process of registering an original work with the United States Copyright Office. This is done through filling out forms and sending in copies of your work. Original works are extremely important assets to musicians and is important to protect your works from copyright fraud so that you can get fees and paid money for your music. "The congress shall have power to promote the progressive science and useful arts by securing, for a limited time, to authors and inventors, the exclusive rights to their respective writings and discoveries.""
