"Once you have an album out and you are planning a tour, a great way to advertise for the tour, is to create promotional means of advertising, such as fliers and posters. Here are some examples of fliers that advertise. This is an example of a flier for a music festival. Playing music festivals in the summer is a great way to promote your band. As you can see, there is a lot of pizzazz and spunk to this flier. It includes colorful and attractive artwork. Another type of flier for a different type of music festival, which is a jazz festival, looks as this. Many times, it is great to relate the style of music you are playing with the artwork. Here are other examples of fliers that advertise for different concerts. They can include a variety of things, pictures of the performers, upcoming other shows, and also different bios of the people. Summer festivals also have really great pamphlets which advertise for the festival and advertise and promote the bands that are going to be played at the festival. This pamphlet is from a music festival "All Good." Opening it up, it has all sorts of descriptions of the artists, links and things the artists are related to. You can also advertise and promote your band and your shows in magazines, such as Billboard."
