How to Do The Cups & Balls Trick

"Hi, I'm Joe with Expert Village. And I'm going to show you some of the basic items that magicians use. This trick is called the cups and balls. We have three cups, and three balls on the table. You place the center cup over one ball, and place another ball on top of that cup. And another cup on top of that and the third cup on top of that. With a little tap the ball penetrates, and comes to the bottom. We now have two balls, and one ball. We take the cups, place one cup in the middle, another cup over the balls, another cup on the end. Put the third ball here, cover it up. Put the other cup on, with a little tap, three balls have penetrated. The secret to this trick is the fourth ball. Since the fourth ball is not seen by the audience, when you cover up one ball, we're actually moving the fourth ball. So the fourth ball gets covered here. Another ball here, and then when we tap, it appears to penetrate. You can find everything you need at your local magic shop, or on the internet."
