"Hi. We're back here at Expert Village and I'm Kat Litrenta. I am a personal entertainer and I'm trying to show you how to become one too. Now, we're doing the big band 1940's and we've selected all of our music. We've got our costume and now we want to know how do we take music from here and put it on a CD that's just our show that runs from top to bottom all of the music we've selected. Well, I'm going to show you how to do that. You'll need to go into a studio. Studio time is kind of expensive so the best way for you to keep your cost down is to be prepared. It's going to take a little bit of research to find out what songs you want to use. When you find out what they are, bring them into a studio, ask a friend who might be an entertainer as well, what studios should I use and how much do they cost? Well, they've got to have the best equipment so you can get the best sound. Make sure you bring your words with you into the studio, because on occasion, they ask you, "Well, why don't you sing through this song and let me find your range." Well, if you don't have the words with you, even though you think you know the tune, you might have forgotten the words. And the bridge, it's so important to make sure you go through the bridge of the music, because the key may change in the bridge and that's what you've got to find out when you're in the studio, laying down the CD that's just for your show."
