" Hi! I’m Katie and I’m here on behalf of expertvillage.com to talk with you about tempo markings. Before you start to read a piece of music you need to be aware of the tempo markings. Tempo means how quickly the beats will come in piece so here for example we see Adagio which means very slowly but you’ll likely see a number of different tempo markings. Here we see Allegro which means fast and over here we see Presto which means extremely fast and here is Andante which basically means a walking pace, always keep an eye out for a temp marking."
