How to Make a Demo Reel

Another good thing to have is a demo reel. This demo reel consists of clips of various things you have done in the past. Most of these can be obtained from contacting the director of the different projects that you have done. With all the editing tools available now, it should be easy to find someone that can compile it onto a DVD for you that you can send out with your headshot and resume packets or you can even upload it online to your own personal website, which is also another fantastic networking tool. Set up your name as doc.com and then you can send it out as links to all casting directors to the responses of casting calls and that way it takes up a lot less space in their inbox and they can just click a link and go to your page and see your head shot, demo reels and voice reels all in one place. This is just a few of the things that could work. "
