" Hi! My name is Ken Marcou, we’re going to be playing a 5/4 beat I’m going to be showing you how to do a 5/4 beat. Now 5/4 beat, this is a little bit more abstract sounding, definitely sounds cool when mixed in with either a 4/4 or a 6/8 measure, sometimes you can go back and forth and it sounds really complex and really you know kind of crazy but it’s actually not that complicated it takes some getting used to but 5/4 beat because it’s not very typical and it’s not very even takes a little bit of getting used to but a 5/4 beat is counted out by saying 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 5 and, 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 5 and. The beat that I’m going to be playing I’d be humming to myself by saying 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 5, 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 5, 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 5, 1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and 5, so I’m going to demonstrate…so that’s an example of playing a 5/4 beat."

on 8/2/2008 Wow - you are EXCELLENT...
I wonder if when you do the 5/4 beat, you could tell us what to play on each of the beats...I was trying to figure it out, and I'm totally lost - admittedly, that does not take much, but it would be helpful...
God bless you!
