" Hi! Ken Steiner here for expertvillage.com. We’re going to continue now with some exploration on to the triple slap feel. In the previous section we talked about a triple slap with two feel kind of a swing feeling, another triple slap that if you hear a lot is one with a true triplet feel. Again this has the sort of a hit of a note and proceeded by a couple of slaps but this time instead of having sort of a swing feeling it’s a very strict triple feeling, see if I can demonstrate…….that’s got a straight triple feeling so you got……… Let’s see if I can slow that down a little bit so you can see what I’m doing……..again you notice I’m still keeping that sort of circular motion, it just makes it a lot easier it just gives you sort of muscle memory I guess or whatever. That’s to contrast with the other triple slap line I did earlier so the difference really is just in the way of the timing of the beat….you could hear the difference and it’s settled it’s just in the timing that I use to do the slaps."
