"Today we're showing breaking tips. Alright, now we're going to talk a little bit about a move I call a slip down. A slip down is a transitional move. You would do it from your top rock, into your foot work, onto a freeze. This move is a pretty cool move. This is something when you get a little bit more advanced. You want to mess with the crowd again or something like that. This is something that looks like you're falling or you're slipping, but in reality you're totally in control. I'm going to demonstrate what it looks like. Now I'm going to demonstrate it off the top rock so you can kind of see what I mean. It looks something like this. Now that's what we call a slip down into a different little combo. Now a slip down looks a lot harder than it is. I'm going to break the whole move down for you so you too can mess with any kind of crowd you want. Now, I'm going to go ahead and do it with my right leg. You're going to left leg, you're going to step forward like so. The trick to this is that your hips have to go sideways, even though our body is going forward. Example would be start from here. Hips are going to side motion. We want to that same thing, but give it the illusion that we're going forward. Basically, step forward with your left foot. Your hips, without turning your body completely sideways, your hips want to turn sideways. Your foot's here, now you want to gently bring your body down and come down. When you get pretty advanced, you can pretty much do that without any hands. There's a method to do it without hurting yourself. It's kind of like a backwards worm. So it looks something like this. Step, here. Now that didn't hurt at all. Very gently I can transition into CC's, into back rock, into any move I want, even a thread. Again, I'm going to take it from the top rock. 1, 2, step, slide, down. That's a slip down."
