my name is Jude Parry from Gold Coast Theater Company in Miami Beach and today I will be teaching you a little bit about the art of mime. Okay when I am teaching as I am teaching you now, I like my students to use their own imagination and create sketches but how do you build a sketch in a very short time. I like to give people 5 or maybe most around 10 minutes to come up with a 1 minute piece. They have to think on their feet. They have to grab the first thing and they have to say yes to everything. If you've ever done comedy and prop, it is pretty much the same thing. Don't negotiate anything. Don't say no, say yes to anything and you are amazed what comes in.
