"my name is Jude Parry from Gold Coast Theatre Company in Miami Beach. Today I will be teaching you a little bit about the art of mime. Now, you probably think this is just like a regular piece of furniture turned on its side. In fact, that's what it is. But, who knows, you might be able to come across something in someone’s house and create this really cool party trick. What you're going to do is you're going to go downstairs. The way you do it is you look downstairs, because you're imagination is of course, very important. Then you step, then you step, step, step until you disappear. Now, if it was very long, I'd completely disappear out of sight, but it takes a few steps to disappear. Then we go to the bottom, you can come back up. If you notice, my bad is completely straight. Many people because their legs are not so strong, they will go down like this, and it destroys the illusion. Keep your back straight and use your thighs to take a step and go a little lower each time. That is going downstairs in the art of mime."
