"my name is Jude Parry from Gold Coast Theatre Company in Miami Beach. Today I will be teaching you a little bit about the art of mime. I started with the most complicated mime walk and then I went to one that's a lot simpler. This one is really a mime walk for dummies. Yes, you and even you can do this one. All you have to do is you have to sway from side to side. This only works on stage if you're facing an audience. This really doesn't work from the side because I'm just swaying back and forth, but that's all you're doing. You're just swaying from side to side. Your attention is as if you're walking. You can see what I'm doing with my feet. I pick it up slightly, push down into the thighs and the toes of one foot. If you look up, then I'm going to show with my intension, my arms, that I'm really moving somewhere. I can use my feet to kick back at the same time, but essentially all I'm doing is swaying from side to side. This is the way Michael Jackson learned how to do the moonwalk, but he got more complicated because he is talented and you may not be."
