my name is Jude Parry of Gold Coast Theater Company, in Miami Beach, and today I will be teaching you a little bit about the art of mime. Okay, once you've learned the solid surface and the fixed point, the next, of course, inevitable illusion is to learn about walking along a wall. And you can also create the illusion of a box. So, you have a wall in front of you, a wall to the side, and even a wall behind you. And this is great for all kinds of ideas. You can create the illusion of a box. Marcel Marceau had a box that grew smaller and smaller and smaller, until he was trapped inside his cage. And that was the name of the illusion that he created, The Cage. Until you can get out and no longer be trapped. Your illusion of the cage, but only in your imagination.
