I'm Mark Wenzel and we're going to learn how to be a mime today. First of all, everyone talks about the makeup. What I recommend is that you use something called cake makeup. It's different than the grease. You don't have to powder it afterwards and you actually sweat right through it. It's very important to use. The whole thing with the mime makeup is that you want to have it nice and smooth. You don't to leave brush strokes. The first thing you do is put on a good under coat. You follow the chin line. It doesn't go down the neck. We'll later on go into the difference between clowns and mimes. Right now, you see it doesn't really go down the neck. the same thing with the forehead here. It is supposed to look like a mask. Once you get on the first coat, which I am doing very quickly. The thing is you can take your time with the first coat.
