Video Transcript

"In this next clip we are going to put the ladies into an underarm turn. Which is going to start off, gentlemen, in a closed dance position. Now, what's going to happen, we're going to walk through this slow because this gets a little tricky. You're going to lift up your left arm and with your right arm, guide the lady through. One, two, three, two, two, three. We want you to do two basic Polka steps for one underarm turn. And, to show you from the back, what the hand should be doing, that's on the lady's shoulder blade, it will look like this. When you lift up the left arm, you guide the lady underneath. One, two, three, two, two, three. Don't push or shave the lady, just guide her and she'll follow that lead right into the underarm turn. The key to that is lifting up the left hand and that's going to be the signal for her to do the underarm turn."
