"In this clip we want to focus on the hands to start you off. We're going to put you into a cape position. Gentlemen, so you're side by side with your partner, you're going to hold left hand to left hand and right hand to right hand over the lady's right shoulder. This is one of the foundation steps to the Domino Polka. This is called the cape position and the Domino is done in a cape position with each couple behind the next in a circle across, around the dance floor. So you will be in a cape with one hand over the shoulder and the other hand in front. This will allow you to make the turn. What's going to happen is during the dance, you're also going to have to turn the cape around whereas this fashion now, you're going to lower the right hand and the left hand is above the shoulder. So as you can see, you have equal flow of motion from one direction to the other."
