"Hi I'm Bulletyme, dance choreographer here in L.A. on behalf of Expert Village and this clip will be discussing the importance of listening to music with your eyes closed. It sounds out of the box to some people, a lot of people want to come into my dance class don't want to close their eyes and they fight the tip that I give them to help them dance better, but today I'll show you why that's important. One of the reasons is because we get distracted by what's around us very easily. The other dancers in the class, the teacher, is anybody looking at me? Your own body in the mirror can be a distraction and hinder you from learning what it is your choreographer or dance instructor is teaching you. So when you take a moment and close your eyes and hear the instruments your choreographer is choreographing to for your own self, just hear it for yourself, it makes the process of picking up dance movement a little bit easier."
