on 8/2/2008 I really like your projects. And your videos are very good for beginners. The viewer can actually see what you are doing, much better than many other tutorials I've seen. Thank you, Karen!

"Hi! I'm Karen for Expert Village. Now we'll sew our pocket placement. I'm sewing it here, so I'm going to have a large pocket and a smaller pocket. Again, secure the threads by going back and forth. We'll remove our pin. I'm following a stripe in my pillowcase so I have a straight pocket. If you don't have any stripes, then you would take a marking pencil, a chalk pencil and just mark where you want to sew. Just check to make sure that it's flat. There you can put a pin if you want to hold it in place. Again, go back and forth over 3 or 4 times to make sure that's nicely secure, because when you put your books in the pocket it's going to get pressure there. Okay, that is our pillowcase book caddy. You'll stick this fabric in between the mattress and the box spring, and then you'll have right beside your bed a place to place your books, you glasses, and anything else that you might be using to enjoy your reading.
