"Hi! I'm Karen for Expert Village. This was our 10 inch marking. You see it came at the right place to the beginning of our handle. I'm going to pin this down place and then double check that it's 2 inches. It's a little too close. I'll move it out a bit. It should be 2 inches from the edge of the book cover to the edge of the ribbon. Then follow your hand around the handle so that the handle is not twisted. You don't want a twisted handle. Again, 2 inches in and the pins should match here. We'll pin that in place. Right here we're going to overlap. We have a little too much ribbon here. I'm going to cut some off. We'll cut that off so that we have enough overlap to fold that in like this. You want to measure 2 inches from the side here to here and pin that in place. I'll put one more pin right in the center here to hold this ribbon in place. Now we're ready to sew that down. We'll be sewing from the handle pin to handle pin and around on both sides. We'll sew from here, down, around, and down. We'll have to do a little reinforcement there."
