"I’m an Industrial Designer here today to talk a little bit about the field of Industrial Design. And other aspects of Industrial Design have to do with more of a style where its updating a particular product and this is where automobile design comes in. I mean one can see maybe a Porsche from 1980 and see a 2007 Porsche and you’ll see that heritage with it, you’ll understand what that particular car the features and the look and feel of it have been consistent over the span of many, many years. On the other side you have particular cars are reinvented from year to year and I would put maybe the Ford Thunderbird in this category. If you look at a 1960’s Ford Thunderbird to you know a 21st Century Ford Thunderbird you would not recognize it the car looks totally different. It’s much like fashion where we know what 80’s fashion was, what that looks like all the way up to present day."
