"Hi! My name is Rajan with Expert Village and I’m an Industrial Designer here today to talk a little bit about the field of Industrial Design, some people call it product design. Because often times you know a cell phone is a cell phone but often times people can be very selective in which type of cell phone they want to use and what are those deciding factors? Well it could be the size, the look, the color, the material things like that because often times people will only use their cell phone to make phone calls and even though there are better features on cell phones as far as PDA’s, cameras, etc., often times people make a decision purely on the look and feel of a particular object. So the designer needs to understand that there are certain perimeters that he or she is working under when developing a new product. "
