Video Transcript

"Hi! My name is Rajan with Expert Village and I’m an industrial designer here today to talk a little bit about the field of industrial design, some people call it product design. The process of industrial design usually encompasses I would say three basic steps, to be brief one would be the research phase which includes some concept development, understanding the product and how it’s going to be used and developing quick concept sketches to communicate what the designer feels is appropriate in working with the client. Taking those sketches and moving it on to more refined images whether they’d be computer generated or 2D drawings. These will help people understand in more detail what the solution holds. "
