"Hi, my name is Sean Beck at Mom's Tattoos in Wilmington, North Carolina on behalf of Expert Village here to tell you a little bit about tattoo after care. Alright, I'm going to tell you a little bit about washing. It is the most important thing you can do for your tattoo. If you don't do anything else, you keep your tattoo clean, that is the most important thing. If ink comes out because of one reason or something doesn't look good for another reason, that is fine, we can fix the tattoos. If you do not clean your tattoo you will get an infection, you will get some funky stuff and you could end up in the hospital with some serious health problems. So keep your tattoo clean. We recommend, I usually recommend about four times a day is the easiest way; when you get up in the morning, when you have a lunch break at work, when you get home and when you go to bed, wash your tattoo. If you can wash it a couple of more times than that, great. Antibacterial hand soap is good, liquid. You probably want to get something that is not so foo-foo perfumery because that stuff has a lot of alcohol in it and it will burn. It will keep your tattoo clean, it won't hurt you like in long terms but it will burn and you will be uncomfortable. But you can use pretty much any kind of soap you want. Just if you don't want it to burn so much try to get something unscented."
