"I'm going to talk to you a little bit about ointments. Every tattoo artist is going to recommend something different there again they're taking responsibility for your tattoo so you want to use what they recommend. I as a tattoo artist recommend Bacitracin, a lot of tattoo artist recommend it. It is a mild Vaseline base antibiotics really good stuff. The ointment is to keep your skin moisturize during the tattoo process, keeps you from drying up and all of that good stuff. There is a lot of stuff on the market there is Bacitracin, there is A&D ointment, there is a lot of tattoo products Tattoo Goo, Ink Fixx, H2Ocean. Then again you want to talk to your artist about which ointment that they want you to use. I'm sure they will tell you. I personally don't recommend things like A&D ointment I had a lot of people have bad allergic reaction to them. No tattoo artist would recommend Neosporin, some tattoo artist say cause the ink comes out. I personally find that there is so many chemicals in the Neosporin that you have much more chance of a allergic reaction to the product. So again we recommend Bacitracin we are going to tell you Bacitracin here but talk to your artist and they will tell you what kind of ointment they want you to have."
