Very simple it's your tattoo, it is your skin, it is with you for the rest of your life. Tattoos depend on 2 major things; the artist who does the tattoo and the customer that takes care of it. If you don't take care of your tattoo you can have the best tattoo artist in the world and your tattoo won't be very nice. You spend a lot of money, it is an investment, you want to take care of your work. If you go to a doctor the doctors are going to heal you they are going to make sure that your skin heals but they are not going to be so concerned about the quality or your tattoo. Tattoos have to heal a certain way to look nice so if you have any problems or questions please go back to the tattoo artist who did your work. "
