"Hi, I'm Sue Rose with Expert Village and today we're talking about transparencies in glazes in watercolor. We're getting now into the details of our painting and this time I'm going to go over everything with a mixture of my rose madder, and cadmium red light. Cause I want to go over everything again with my fish I want this like a stain glass window with lots of color showing through. But remember to be sure and dry everything before you add the next color. (painting) Also remember even though it looks dark it always dries lighter on the page, so I'm going over everything with the mixture of my rose madder and my cadmium red light. Be sure to not scrub your paints and to go in one direction only. (painting) There should be a color settle change variation here with these colors with the red and orange and it's fine to have this color change on the fish as well. And you see how the same color is looking entirely different when you get to the tail of the fish. I think I want it a little darker here on this part. Stay tuned for the next segment on our finishing details on our transparent fish."
