"Hi! I'm Sue Rose with Expert Village, and today we're going to work on painting a watercolor sunset and show you how to apply the streaks in your wet watercolor paper. Now, one of the things that you would want to do at this point is right now I have been working dry on dry. Now I'm going to work wet on wet and I'm going to put some streaks in the sky, some sunset streaks. I'm going back to my original yellow and I'm just going to put some streaks across here just loosely. I'm going to use my cadmium red as well. I use just a Kleenex. If you want to get some kind of a texture effect, you may use just a Kleenex or a paper towel and go through areas like this to your thing. But I still want a blazing sunset so I'm going to add some more streaks to this. As you notice, I go right across the sun there. It makes very little difference. I'm going to clean my brush and then go in and add a little bit of yellow around this sun so that we can see where it's coming. You can see difference that you get when you mix these 3 colors. I'm going to go horizontally across everything right now. Now, before I dry this, I'm going to go and add some really strong blue here to my water. Since there is a reflection in the water, I'm going to add a little more of my red and my yellow. Be sure to rinse your brush between each color use. Watch the next segment to see how to apply your details on your watercolor sunset."
