"Good morning. I'm Sue with Expert Village and we're beginning to start putting the paint on our paper. I'm using my size 30 brush and the first color that I'm going to use is this transparent yellow. One of the things you always want to do is to blot your brush before you put it on the paper. We're going to start. You can go from left to right or whatever and you start from the top of the paper and work completely down. I'm going to cover the entire sheet of paper with this water. So here we go with this yellow. You do not want to go to scrub your paint and go like this. Just go from left to right or vice versa and bring the yellow completely down on your piece of paper. Depending upon the amount of water you use, you can have a transparent layer or an opaque layer. It all depends on the amount of water that you put on your brush. You cover the whole sheet of paper. The water, the buildings, everything, because then we will go over it with some of our other colors and you'll get a very interesting combination. The important thing in doing something like this is that you always use transparent colors. be very careful with your blues and your greens because some of them have more sediment than others. If you put one color or another it will turn to mud, so be sure when you are doing a painting like this that you use transparent paint only. One thing that I do to speed up the painting process is I use hairdryer and dry my painting. I'm going to dry this and after I dry this, I'm going to take this product which is called mask pen and I'm going to cover with a brush this sun here so that it will stay the basic yellow. Please watch the next segment and I will show you these 2 easy steps."
