How to Mix Blue Paint with Other Colors for a Painting

"Hi, I'm Sue Rose with Expert Village and today we're talking about mixing colors. We've mixed our reds and our greens with others and their complimentary color and we're gonna mix them with the other top six colors and we've gotten now to our blues. So, I'm gonna mix a little bit of my blue here with my green, more blue and just a little dab of green and I come up with yet another color that is different than the one above it. Just slightly, but it is a different, paler blue. Next, I'm gonna take my blue here and I'm going to mix a little dab of orange in it and here's my blue with my orange which is another color here, more of a khaki color. I'm going to wet my brush, clean it, and I'm going to take my blue here, this time I'm going to mix it with my purple, or my violet. And I come up with yet another color, oh that's a pretty color here. And, I'm going to add a little bit more blue here because I'm going to need it later on, my palettes are getting kind of messed up now, but it'll show you how to do this. Now, I'm going to take a little dab of my blue here and this time, wet, and just a little dab of this blue here and here is another green or blue-green that's different from the one above it. So these are, I'm adding more and more colors to my palette as I go along. Stay tuned to the next segment when we mix our orange with the other primary and secondary colors."
