"Hi, I'm Sue Rose with Expert Village. And, we've just used our complimentary color green, mixing our reds and now we're going to use our complimentary color red to mix our green. So, this is how we mix your green. I'm going to rinse my brush very well, and I'm going to have my regular green up there, and I'm going to put my green here, and I'm just going to put a dab of red into that green, just a small dab of red. And, here I come up with another and a darker green. Now, I'm going to put my paint in this green again, rinse my brush, and put a little bit more red in this time, a little more green and an even darker green comes up, and a different color green. And, the same thing holds true, if I mix this green with the same amount of red I get mud, same color. So, you want to use, when you're painting and using these complimentary colors, you want to use the first three colors in your painting, but don't mix half and half or you'll end up with mud. Stay tuned for the next segment on how we do our blues and oranges."
