"When collecting mulberry china, I highly recommend that you start by looking at some of the resources and using the Schroeder books. They put them out every year. It is a great resource for a general book. They will give you a little bit about mulberry in it. Maybe a page, page and half but it also gives you a huge range about collecting any kind of porcelain so this is a nice book. It is pretty inexpensive. I think they range; I'm not sure what the price range is but it is very inexpensive compared to some other books. Here is a book on Flow Blue china. It also has mulberry in it. A good book to start with . Not as expensive; under $20 and it is the Encyclopedia by Mary Frank Gaston so this is a good book. Another good book just on Ironstone in general and this will show you what a lot of the Ironstone's different patters, Flow Blue, Mulberry and just plain white Ironstone, Strawberry, Luster and this gives you a wide range of different varieties of Ironstones to collect. I highly recommend this book. You can buy it. It's in print so it is just white Ironstone, a survey of its many forms. This is a really good book but there are a lot of resources. You can go to a library and not pay for any book. If you know the name of the book, the library can usually get it for you. Barnes and Nobles is a good place and the Internet is a good place. So those are some examples of books that I highly recommend if you are going to start to collect any kind of early china."
