"Hi! I'm Tom Wright from Ginger Bread Glass and I'm here today to show you how to make a glass jar. Now we're going to stretch out 2 clear rods for our jar. I'm going to start it here. Same process as the other one, except you can run this temperature a little bit hotter and make it a little bit quicker because the clear rod has no color, so nothing is allowed on it. Get that nice and hot and start pulling. One. I'll do another one. We'll be putting the clear on after we melt in all of the color and give the color a little bit of design. The clear gives it the nice magnifying effect and it just strengthens the overall end product. Some of the color are not all exactly the same type of glass. They might be a little brittle. With all the clear on the outside, it really brings them all together and strengthens the overall piece. There's another clear one. Those are ready for application after the color. "
