OK, we're going to see how a color chart relates to a color wheel. And, you see these all the time, and we're going to learn how to construct this and how they go together. The colors that I said that are in between, these are called tertiaries, these are the third layer of color. Well, let's turn this. let's see. I see with my yellow here and look at all the colors that are in between the green and the yellow. I've got a yellow-green if you look in you're crayon box, if you've got 64 crayons, you'll find that. Between the green and the blue I get green-blue, or turquoise, that's an in between color, so I would put that here. Between the blue and the purple I get a really deep purple like you see grapes that are purpley, really purpley and blue. Between purple and the red I've got red-violet, between red and orange I have red-orange and between the orange and the yellow I have yellow-orange. Those are the colors that go between, and our little chart tells us, ah, if I mix red and purple, the answer goes right here. If I mix the purple and the blue the answer goes right here. And that's how we work our way around the chart and that's how a color wheel is constructed.
