"Let's talk a little bit more about 3D, three dimensions. I talked in the last clip about straight lines with 3D or square or shapes with straight lines now let’s do squiggles or irregular shapes. How do you make that shape 3D? There are no corners to start your diagonal lines off of so you have to kind of take pick and edge and draw a diagonal line off of. And then you have to imagine if there are imaginary diagonal lines. You can even draw them in the beginning. If you are not sure how it is going to go coming off of all the edges until you get to the very edge where you can't go any further or you will be off of the shape. Make that your second edged line. So these are the important lines. And make sure these lines are just as long as each other. You don't want one to go all the way out there. Then start here and parallel this line right here. So parallel that. Now you see that was made 3D. It's probably easiest with a circle. But you can take any strange shape and once you get good at it can make it look three dimensional. "
