"How to draw a tree. First part is most people don't think about this but if you look at a tree you see the trunk is kind of wavy like that. The bottom of the trunk touches the ground. And then we kind of curve out curve in and then out like that. Cause a lot of trees get thicker right at the base and then thinner as the trunk goes up and they spread out again. Now the beauty of a tree is that there is no right or wrong way to do a tree as you have seen can grow any which way. So if you think you are making a mistake just keep adding branches adding things to it. Next thing you will know it will look better than you even imagined. So we will start out start sectioning off your top with v's like that. And that will section it off into your branches. Now if you want to stop right there you can do the top like this. Like we have all seen when we used to do in first grade. Kind of make it come down around and you can take more of these little U lines and you can cut of the branches right there. Or if you want to make the branches get a little more branched out before they get hidden by the leaves do a little of that. But at some point you cut them off cause the leave are hiding them. And there is your basic tree you want to put a little bit of grass around out there. You want to give a little more texture there that there is some more leaves here. Kind of close that in. And the coolest thing is that you can put a little hole right there and make cool bark. Lines and you almost can't mess up. You really can't mess up lines. Put in a few more leaves. A little happy bush right there. And there is our tree. "
