"Hi, I’m Melody on behalf Expert Village. I’m going to show you a little bit about composition. One of the items that you really should have is a ruler or straight edge of some sort. Now my paper’s crooked, so if your paper is crooked and you still want to make straight lines, you need to make a grid pattern. And I’m not going to do this throughout the entire page, because I just think that you’ll get the idea. And what you’d like to have is equal portions of space so if you want to use a grid of say 2 inches, then you just measure 2 inches and make your lines based on that grid. And I’m just going to quickly make a couple more lines for you, just so you get the idea. I’m making a larger grid because I can and we don’t have too much time for this. So anyway all the way to the bottom, you can use dots or you can use lines. All right, if you’ll check our next segment out, we’re going to be doing the second part of composition"
